Several faculty members in Auburn’s School of Industrial and Graphic Design (SIGD) have been recognized by Graphic Design USA for their work on the visual identity for “Kaleidoscope,” a school-wide student design show.
On Monday, April 29, SIGD faculty, staff and students welcomed more than 800 friends, family, alumni and industry partners to the Plains for the inaugural Kaleidoscope: Auburn Design Show.

Auburn’s School of Industrial and Graphic Design is pleased to announce the inaugural Kaleidoscope: Auburn Design Show. An opening reception will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, and the show will be available for viewing through Friday, May 3.
This December, over 1,800 new Auburn graduates and their families heard from commencement speaker Tom Dempsey, the founder and CEO of camping and recreation gear manufacturer SylvanSport and a 1989 alumnus of Auburn’s industrial design program.
Zack Kohrman has been teaching in SIGD since 2020 and was appointed to a Lecturer position last fall.
The industrial design program at Auburn University has a long history of using design to solve health care problems.
