Samantha Herbert is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design in the Auburn University School of Industrial and Graphic Design. An award-winning photographer, installation artist and designer, her work has been featured in numerous regional, national and international exhibitions, including the Texas National and the Center Awards at the Center for Photographic Arts. Her scholarly research in the areas of design education and history has been published both in this country and abroad. Herbert has a strong commitment to Auburn students and their academic excellence, evidenced by her service as President and Recording Secretary of the Auburn Chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest national interdisciplinary honor society, and as the Faculty Advisor for the Auburn University Student Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).
