Renovations Complete in Gorrie Room 227

Gorrie Room 227

Recent renovations to Room 227 in Gorrie Center, home to the McWhorter School of Building Science, included two video screen display walls, multiple glass boards that function as writing surfaces, new carpets and paint.

“What is nice [about the glass boards] is that they are on three of the four walls and have graph lines superimposed,” said Professor Paul Holley, “so when teaching classes like scheduling and structures, they are so much better than traditional whiteboards.”

Philanthropic opportunities, such as naming the glass boards, are available. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Christopher Griffin in CADC’s Office of Development at cgriffin@auburn.edu.
