Research Start-Up Funding

CADC research start-up funding programs provide grant support to faculty exploring new ideas, starting research and community collaborations, and to serve as matching funds on extramural proposals. Currently, three programs are offered annually: Seed Grants, McWhorter Fund for Excellence Grants, and the Center for Construction Innovation and Collaboration Grants. The CADC Research Council serves as an advisory group and reviews the Seed Grant and McWhorter Fund for Excellence grant proposals.

Research Support Team

The CADC Research Support Team provides support to faculty in all aspects of research- and creative scholarship-related activities and interests. This includes the identification, planning, budgeting, writing and submission of extramural and intramural grant proposals, and the post-award management of grants.
