Laptop Requirements

Incoming Students

The below recommendations are for students who are currently enrolled in the professional programs in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. We do not encourage incoming students to purchase a device meeting these standards. Instead, students should wait until they are accepted into a professional program to purchase the robust laptop needed for their program as laptop selections vary by program/major. A traditional “off the shelf” laptop will suffice for pre-professional coursework.
