The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (APLA) welcomes Gwen Cohen, Isaac Cohen and Sarah Coleman, all of whom are joining the school’s Landscape Architecture program. Last year, this growing program added a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree program in addition to its existing Master of Landscape Architecture program.

“We are excited to welcome these new colleagues,” stated APLA school head Justin Miller. “We look forward to their contributions to the growth and success of the landscape architecture programs.”

The McWhorter School of Building Science welcomes Jonathan Tucker as Senior Lecturer and Field Lab Manager of the Robins & Morton Construction Field Lab. Tucker is taking over for Mike Hosey, who is retiring after 15 years of service to the building science program.

“We are really glad to welcome Jonathan Tucker into our team to continue to provide opportunities for students to learn by doing through service learning and to make the best use of our excellent Robins & Morton Construction Field Lab,” stated school head Richard Burt.

The School of Industrial and Graphic Design (SIGD) is welcoming Lee Clark, Mario Bocanegra and Devon Ward to the staff of the Graphic Design program. Andy Holliday is also joining as a Visiting Instructor for the academic year 2022-23.

“The diverse expertise our new faculty bring to our department will have an enormous impact on our students across our entire curriculum, from foundations to upper-level courses,” stated graphic design program chair Robert Finkel. “Their creative scholarship and research represent innovative approaches to the discipline, and we’re thrilled to have them in SIGD.”
