Building Science Alumnus named President and COO of Robins & Morton

Robin Savage, a 1982 graduate of the McWhorter School of Building Science, has been named President of Robins & Morton in addition to his current role as Chief Operating Officer. Savage has been with Robins & Morton for 33 years and has served in many roles; he was named Chief Operating Officer in 2002 and has played a key role in the company’s success and steady growth. He has also served on various Associated Builders & Contractors of Alabama committees and boards and took on the position as the state association’s chairman of the board this year. A good friend and supporter of the McWhorter School of Building Science, Savage received the school’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his service, leadership and commitment to Auburn and to his company.

“Robin Savage has been a long-time generous supporter of our school with his time and gifts,” says Richard Burt, Head of the McWhorter School of Building Science. “He has served on numerous committees and has helped guide the school through name changes, capital campaigns, new buildings, and both good and bad economies. He is a valued member of our Industry Advisory Council. Being named President of Robins & Morton is a well-deserved honor for Robin.”
