Spotlight: Morgan Bryan, ENVD ’21

Morgan credits growing up in a military family, and the experience of traveling, with shaping her earliest understanding of the world. As a result, her interest in the creative side of design was born. At eighteen, a life altering experience working with Casas Por Cristo in the poverty stricken and crime filled city of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico honed her interest in design, and architecture in particular, into a passion for outreach and activism. Morgan strongly believes that to be a designer is to live in service to the call of humanity.

“As a designer I believe that design is not only a source of noble empowerment, but a universal language that bridges the divide of inequity, for it’s when design and humanity collide, that the doors of global change swing wide open.”
