Site Logistics and a Series of Unfortunate Events: A Case Study

AGC Site Logistics Grant

Jeff Kim and Wesley Collins (McWhorter School of Building Science) were funded by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) to develop a case study related to construction site logistics. The case study was based on the City Springs project in Sandy Springs, Georgia, which included a new town center and performance hall built by Holder Construction, and new multi-family residential complex built by Brasfield & Gorrie. The projects were located on a very constrained construction site adjacent to one of the busiest thoroughfares in the greater Atlanta area. The case study was developed for use by construction students and construction practitioners, and by educators as a teaching tool.

Jeff Kim is Assistant Professor and Wesley Collins is Assistant Professor at Auburn’s McWhorter School of Building Science.
