Bob & Sherry Faust Distinguished Lecture

Auburn’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (APLA) is pleased to announce that the Bob & Sherry Faust Distinguished Lecture will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. This event will feature speaker, Tatiana Bilbao. Bilbao is CEO & Founder of Tatiana Bilbao ESTUDIO. Bilbao holds a professorship at the Yale School of Architecture and has taught at Columbia University’s GSAPP, Harvard University’s GSD, Rice University, Andrés Bello University in Chile and the Peter Behrens School of Art at the HS in Düsseldorf, Germany. Her work has been published in The New York Times, A + U, Domus, Arquitectura Viva, El País, among others.

This event will honor the legacy of Robert L. Faust, Professor Emeritus of Architecture, who passed away in November of 2020. Faust taught in APLA from 1968 until his retirement in 2012 while also maintaining his own design practice. The Bob & Sherry Faust Distinguished Lecture is made possible through the generosity and support of Professor Faust’s wife Sherry.

The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a reception to follow and will be livestreamed on YouTube by the College of Architecture, Design and Construction.
