CADC Welcomes 9 New Faculty in Fall 2025 Semester

The College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) is excited to welcome several new faculty members to the college in the fall 2025 semester.

Giulia Amoresano and Jordan Young have joined the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture’s (APLA) Architecture program as Assistant Professors. Amoresano specializes in architectural history and comes to Auburn from the University of California, Los Angeles. Young, who previously taught as an adjunct with APLA, is the founder of award-winning design-research practice office office and led courses at Syracuse University and Cornell University. Also in the Architecture program, Mark Wamble has become a new Professor or Practice, bringing experience from Rice University and Interloop—Architecture.

Julia Hedges, Gloria Lau and Adam Molinski have joined APLA’s Landscape Architecture program as Assistant Professors. Hedges brings experience from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; landscape architect, urban designer and visual artist Lau is the founder of arts-based research design practice Studio Site and Seek; and Moliniski has over 10 years of experience in art, film, architecture and landscape architecture and previously taught at Boston Architectural College.

APLA’s Environmental Design program welcomes Visiting Assistant Professor J. Collin Garnett from the University of Michigan. Garnett, who specializes in material culture, adaptive reuse and systems-based thinking, is the founder of Garnett Design.

Auburn alumnus Alexander Adolf, who previously taught as an adjunct in the McWhorter School of Building Science, joined the full-time faculty as a Lecturer, bringing a broad and international perspective to the field of construction.

The School of Industrial and Graphic Design welcomes Assistant Professor Riva Nayaju to the Graphic Design program. An architect and graphic designer, Nayaju specializes in typography, illustration, motion and print design.
