CADC Philanthropy Welcomes Braden Lewis
The College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Philanthropy Officer Braden Lewis. A 2020 graduate of CADC, Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Auburn. In his new position, he will focus on the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major gift prospects, communicating the college’s vision to potential stakeholders to garner support for the college’s continued growth.
Prior to his role as Philanthropy Officer, Braden served as the Engagement Center Director at the University of Florida, where he worked directly with students to promote annual giving to alumni, parents and friends of the University.
Lewis says he is excited to be working with CADC alumni and friends. “Returning to Auburn, especially within the CADC, is amazing,” he stated. “It feels different in that my focus is no longer on my journey post-Auburn, as it was when I was a student. My focus now is entirely on Auburn and what I can do to support it. I want current and future students to have a great experience here, just as I did. I’m most excited about connecting with fellow Auburn alumni and learning their stories and the remarkable work they’ve done after graduation. Being an alumnus of Auburn and the CADC, I understand how crucial support is for student opportunities and its far-reaching impact.”
