Research Fellowships
Auburn University’s Undergraduate Research Fellowship (URF) offers students across all majors and class levels—from freshmen to seniors—an opportunity to conduct meaningful research either on campus, off campus or abroad. Fellowships are awarded in various formats including year-long, one- or two-semester or summer terms, with generous funding that ranges up to $6,000 in stipend plus $2,000 in project support. Selected fellows are expected to present their work at Auburn’s Student Research Symposium, contribute an article or research highlight to the Auburn University Journal of Undergraduate Scholarship and engage in informal cohort gatherings, with mentorship from faculty.
