8 BSCI Alumni Named to Alabama AGC 40 Under 40

The Alabama Association of General Contractors (AGC) has recognized eight alumni of the McWhorter School of Building Science (BSCI) to its 2025 40 Under 40 list.

“The Alabama AGC has been a significant partner of the program, and we encourage our students to be involved with the organization both when they are at Auburn and after they graduate,” said Richard Burt, BSCI School Head and McWhorter Endowed Chair. “This is truly a great recognition of the impact of our graduates on the construction industry.”

This year’s AGC 40 Under 40 list included eleven total Auburn alumni—eight BSCI, one Engineering and one Business—pictured here with other construction industry professionals from throughout the state.

The following BSCI alumni were named to the 40 Under 40 list.

The list also included two Civil Engineering alumni—Jordan Watkins ‘12 and Thomas Clark ‘19—from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering and Collin Peek ‘14, a Supply Chain Management graduate of the Harbert College of Business.

The awardees were recognized at a reception at Back40 Birmingham on Thursday, Sept. 11.
