Graphic Design
Graphic Design students are encouraged to participate in the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the professional organization for all designers in visual communications.
The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) student chapter at Auburn University hosts a membership of 45 students who pay a $50 annual fee to AIGA national.
AIGA is the professional organization for design, founded in 1914, and has a national membership of 22,000 with 73 local chapters and 200 student organizations.

Industrial Designers Society of America
The Auburn University chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) hosts a chapter size of 45 undergraduate and graduate students. Within the last five years, this chapter reached enrollment of 150 students and was the largest student chapter in the USA. The IDSA is the professional association for industrial designers, founded in 1965, and has a nationwide professional membership of 3,000.
Student membership dues to IDSA national is $50 and $20 to the local student chapter.

Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society
The Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts is the only national honor society for architecture and design majors that is accredited by the Association of College Honor Societies.
The Society recognizes intellectual achievement, effort and initiative as well as leadership and character. This prize of membership acknowledges undergraduate and graduate students who attain high scholastic standing in their field.

CADC Ambassadors
The CADC Ambassadors represent the College of Architecture, Design and Construction at events within the community, prospective students and alumni. The Ambassadors act as the official student envoys for the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. The group works closely with the Dean’s Office and the Development Office on a variety of events and initiatives. Ambassadors are selected to interface with alumni and visitors, give tours and information sessions for prospective students and families, and help with official functions and events of the college.
