David Smith is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design in the Auburn University School of Industrial and Graphic Design. The bulk of those years were spent on branding, corporate communications and advertising—often with well-known brands such as AT&T and Siemens. In 2010, after an award-winning career in advertising design, Smith made the transition into academics. At Auburn, he teaches courses in interactive media and graphic design. Prior to coming to Auburn in 2017, he taught at Jacksonville University for seven years.
