About

CADC Day of Design 2022

More than 1,600 students from around the world are enrolled in the CADC. Our rigorous and nationally-ranked programs are firmly rooted in Auburn University’s land grant mission.

Our classes are small and taught by highly engaged and innovative faculty, most with significant industry experience. Individual attention is a hallmark of CADC instruction.

We put our design thinking and building skills to work on today’s challenges, addressing sustainable and equitable solutions in all areas of the built environment and product development.

We believe everyone deserves good design and construction. Rural Studio, Urban Studio, futures studio and the Center for Construction Innovation and Collaboration are among our signature programs that put this philosophy into practice.

Through carefully integrated industry partnerships, study abroad experiences, research initiatives, outreach activities and leadership opportunities, our accomplished and dedicated faculty will nurture, challenge, and mentor you.

The CADC is comprised of three schools:

School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture

McWhorter School of Building Science

School of Industrial and Graphic Design
