User Experience (UX) Lab

The School of Industrial and Graphic Design supports a laboratory that focuses on User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) and Service Learning opportunities.  These emerging areas of skill have become important to the viability of our graduates, reflected by ever-growing demand from industry.  Students demonstrating knowledge and skill in these areas can demand 20% higher salaries upon graduation.  The specialized equipment associated with this instruction include various virtual reality and eye tracking technologies and associated software.

The User Experience Lab has been used in the development of projects for a number of industry sponsors, including NASA, Emerson Tool, GameTime, Generac, and TTI.
