LeBleu Named Interim Head of the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture

Charlene LeBleu, FASLA, will serve as the Interim Head of the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture effective January 1, 2017, announced Vini Nathan, Dean and McWhorter Endowed Chair in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction. She will serve in this position while a search is taking place for the permanent school head.

LeBleu joined the faculty of the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape in 2004 and is currently an associate professor and program chair of the graduate program in landscape architecture. Her primary areas of interest and research have been focused on green building and water quality issues, especially issues related to low impact development design. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the National Vice President of Research for the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).

LeBleu replaces David Hinson who served as school head for ten years and is returning to teaching.
