SUMMARY:Gail Anderson to Lecture at Graphic Design’s Juried Student Show
DESCRIPTION:Gail Anderson\, former senior art director of Rolling Stone magazine\, is Graphic Design”s guest juror and lecturer for its annual Juried Student Show. Anderson\, a New York-based designer\, writer and educator\, is a partner with Joe Newton\, at Anderson Newton Design. She also teaches in the School of Visual Arts MFA\, undergraduate\, and high school design programs. Anderson is the recipient of numerous awards from major design organizations\, including the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Medal from the AIGA. Her lecture is on Thursday\, March 8 at 3:00 p.m. at the Harris Center\, adjoining the Jan Dempsey Community Arts\, where the Juried Student Show is on exhibit from March 5 through March 9.
