Thanks for Giving! Tiger Giving Day 2017

Auburn University’s second 24-hour online crowdsourcing event to help fund different campus projects was February 21, 2017. CADC hosted two campaigns: Better equipment for Urban Design in Birmingham (Urban Studio-School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture) and OSHA Safety Courses for Service Learners (McWhorter School of Building Science). Both exceeded their goals. Thank you and War Eagle!

Urban Studio Project goal: $7,500 for a new plotter to print better quality drawings and renderings so students can create large drawings to demonstrate their work and explain how their ideas can generate, integrate and innovate a new Birmingham. Read more here. Amount raised: $12,020!

OSHA Safety Courses for Service Learners project goal: $10,000 for the McWhorter School of Building Science to provide safety equipment and free 10-hour OSHA Safety Courses for all Auburn University students who plan to work on construction-related service learning projects.
