Spring 2023: Girl Scout Hut

The historic Girl Scout Hut in Auburn is on the Alabama Register of Landmarks & Heritage, and about half of all Girl Scouts in and around Auburn meet there at least once a month. In the fall semester, a team of BSCI students framed new additions to the hut, which included an accessible bathroom and a renovated kitchen. The spring semester team completed all plumbing work, electrical rough-in and the installation of walls and floors. Girl Scout troops in the area can now enjoy a refreshed space with an updated kitchen and an ADA compliant restroom.
