SIGD Students are Outstanding ePortfolio Award Finalists
Two School of Industrial + Graphic Design students Xue (Stella) Dong, an industrial design graduate student, and Kristen Harlin, a rising senior in graphic design, have been chosen as finalists for the second annual Outstanding ePortfolio Award, which recognizes exceptional professional ePortfolios created by Auburn University students. Faculty and staff members from all departments were invited to nominate up to two students (undergraduate and graduate) who have created distinguished ePortfolios. Their ePortfolios are judged on effective communication, critical thinking through reflection, technical competency, and visual literacy.
Dong was the 2014 Spring Studio Prize Winner. She received numerous undergraduate awards from Tongji University in Shanghai, China: Third Class Scholarship for Academic Performance: Second Prize of the 4th China (Liberal Arts) College Computer Design Contest; and her Board Game Design was selected as an outstanding work in the College of Design and Innovation.
