SIGD Receives Office Suite System from Madix
Thanks to Madix, a retail fixture fabricator, the School of Industrial + Graphic Design, now has a new office suite in its administrative office. Madix industrial design alumni David Wilder ‘97, Director of Product Engineering, and Don Doyle ‘06, Product Designer, helped make this donation a reality and assisted in its design, fabrication and installation in Wallace Hall room 207.
“The installed office suite has greatly enhanced the professional presence of our administrative office,” says Clark Lundell, head of the School of Industrial + Graphic Design. “We deeply appreciate David Wilder’s support in seeking approval from Madix to pursue this project and Don Doyle’s assistance with the design and installation of the office suite.”
Madix, known for their innovation in store fixtures and display systems, has two manufacturing facilities in Alabama and one in Texas and employs several Auburn industrial design graduates. Wilder is on the SIGD Advisory Council.
