Zdenko Krtić is a visual artist teaching foundation drawing studios in the School of Industrial and Graphic Design. Ocassionally, Prof. Krtić also teaches Dessein and Special Topics in Art for Architecture and Landscape Architecture programs.
In 2018, after 26 years spent teaching studio art (drawing and painting), and art criticism in the Department of Art and Art History, Prof. Krtić retired from full time teaching as Emeritus Associate Professor or Art. He has since returned to full time studio art practice. In 2011 Professor Krtić established a successful Art in Rome study abroad program for the Department of Art, customized for both art and graphic design majors. The program continues today. His extensive knowledge of the region (Italy, Croatia, and rest of Central and Southeastern Europe) makes him ideal person to help establish new programs and/or participate as faculty leader in existing programs abroad.
