Scott Allen, AIA, is adjunct faculty in Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. Allen joined the architecture faculty in 2024. He currently teaches thesis research and both fifth-year and second-year studios. His teaching interests are focused on MAST—Methodology, Authenticity, Site, Technology—a mechanism that provides a framework for intentional design exploration to supports sustainable and contextual, yet authentic statements.

Prior to starting a practice in Columbus, Georgia, Allen worked at well-known firms in Boston, Raleigh and Atlanta, where he sought to create meaningful architecture. He works in primarily in Columbus, Georgia, and provides staff and project support for the Denver and Houston offices. His projects in education, healthcare and wellness have contributed toward an equitable environment for many tertiary communities. Additionally, he has served on many boards and task force initiatives over the years to contribute beyond the office. The practice has won local and state design awards in Georgia and Alabama.
