Sang Dae Lee is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. He is currently teaching second year design studios and a general elective courses. He founded UNITEDLAB Associates in NYC in 2015 for Cross-Disciplinary Laboratory for Architecture, Landscape, and Urban Design. Its multi-disciplined approach reflects his belief that diverse perspectives enable a broader view that guides the design process and enriches creative insight. The studio’s work endeavors to confront a future with limited resources and seeks ways to implement social, environmental, and economical sustainability through beautiful, well-crafted design. Through his studio projects, he has garnered numerous AIA Design Awards, Architizer A+Awards, ASLA National Professional Awards, and so on. Previously he has practiced at firms whose founder was Charles Moore, Arthur Gensler, Moshe Safdie, I.M. Pei, located in NYC, Boston, and LA for 17 years.
