Brandon Hays is adjunct faculty in the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. His teaching interests focus on the real estate development process and its integration with design, planning and finance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from The University of Alabama, a Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a Master of Real Estate Development from Auburn University.

Professionally, Hays is the Founder and Principal of Hartbrook, a boutique development and building firm committed to the creation of thoughtfully designed, high-quality built environments. The firm’s development interests include new urbanism, infill development and experiential hospitality concepts. Through both practice and teaching, he seeks to advance development that balances design excellence and human experience with financial discipline.
