That’s because ten of the creative design, marketing and advertising agency’s 11 employees are fellow Auburn graduates.

Graddy is one of three partners in the firm, which he joined in 2013. Earlier, he spent 11 years at o2ideas, where he rose from intern to senior art director. While there, he worked with a number of notable clients including Verizon Wireless, Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, Books-A-Million and Alabama State University as well as a number of grocery chains such as Bruno’s, Food World and BI-LO.

At Brand Neue, Graddy serves as executive creative director, guiding the creative vision for the agency and overseeing the development of talent, processes and products. The company specializes in brand development and stewardship, web design, digital marketing, advertising, environmental design, video and animation. Among the agency’s current clients are Mars Petcare, Royal Cup, Chester’s Chicken, 2nd and Charles and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Graddy is quick to credit his own Auburn training for much of his success and says his experience in bringing fellow alumni into Brand Neue has shown him that an Auburn education is still a firm foundation for a lasting career.

“The design skills and creative problem-solving I learned at Auburn have been the consistent backbone for my 23 years in the industry,” he noted. “I’m happy to report that the tradition of a rock-solid creative education from Auburn has not wavered, as evidenced by the number of graduates I have had the privilege of interviewing or hiring over the years.”

As a new member of the School of Industrial and Graphic Design (SIGD) Advisory Council, Graddy hopes to share his experience and background to further enhance the value of an Auburn education.

“I am excited to be able to plug back into the SIGD with the benefit of perspective of my own experiences,” he said. “I look forward to working with this team to help make the education of these young minds even stronger—resulting in an even more powerful creative workforce and ultimately elevating Auburn’s design reputation even higher.”
