Industrial Design’s Groovystuff by Design Collaboration highlighted in Furniture|Today

Each Fall Industrial Design students working under the direction of Tin Man Lau take part in in the Groovystuff by Design furniture design challenge. This year, students on an exchange visit from Shu-Te University also participated. Auburn INDD currently has thirty projects on display at the October High Point Market in High Point, North Carolina. This ongoing collaboration was highlighted in an article, “Some ways to scout for next generation of designers,” in the September 15-21 issue of Furniture|Today. Author Ken Keuffel points out that “The Groovystuff by Design Challenge epitomizes how industry should connect education.”
