Graphic Design Students Collaborate on Heritage Month Poster
Students in Robert Finkel’s GDES 2230 Introduction to Graphic Design course recently completed a project in collaboration with the Cross Cultural Center for Excellence at Auburn University.
GDES 2230 is a course that focuses in design, layout, and image-making procedures for creative problem-solving in graphic design. Finkel specifically teaches with emphasis on presentation, creativity, and visualization. Under the partnership with the CCCE director, Allen Sutton, students were paired-up with representatives from various on-campus organizations to create posters that celebrate different heritages during heritage months.
The large-format posters were produced by CCCE and are displayed throughout the year at the Student Center.
