Second Skin
This Capstone project explores the transformation of fast-fashion byproducts—primarily discarded T-shirts and textile waste—into innovative upcycled prototypes that reimagine material use in spatial design. Through hands-on experimentation, this work deconstructed and reassembled these materials into physical model constructs, developing a series of spatial assemblies that challenge conventional boundaries between fashion and architecture. The project culminated in a rendered collection that visualizes these hybrid forms, emphasizing sustainability, tactility and the potential of waste as a medium for creative spatial expression.
