Finkel’s Class Creates Design Interaction 2015 Posters

Students in Robert Finkel’s LetterPress Imaging class (GDES 3220) designed and Letterpressed printed posters for fall semester’s Design Interaction. Working in teams of three, each team created a design that they printed on French construction paper using a Vandercook SP15 press and then hand editioned (60 prints per team). Students in this summer’s course included Ben Alsobrook, Kristi Garlock, Shaun Hall, Hannah Jones, Catie Lucey, Anna Kay Rotta, Sarah Tate, Caroline Wasylenko, and Charlotte Weaver.

The 37th annual Design Interaction will take place in the Student Activities Center (behind the Wellness Center Tower) on Friday, October 2, 2015. This year’s speakers will be Bethany Heck ’10, Creative Lead of Microsoft Power B1 Team, and Mike Hanuschik, CEO of Stealth-Mode Startup. A cookout will follow the presentations. All events are free and open to the public.
