Finkel Logo Designs Accepted for Publication

Two logo designs created by Robert Finkel, assistant professor of graphic design in the School of Graphic + Industrial Design, have been accepted for publication in LogoLounge Volume 9, a new book highlighting the best in identity design to be released by HOW/F+W Media, Inc. in early 2016. Finkel’s logo designs for Birch Hill, an American Fine/Casual restaurant concept in Long Island, and for Auburn-based Hunter Construction were among the 2,000 chosen from 23,000 logos submitted from around the world. The international panel of judges were Kendrick Kidd of Shepherd Agency, Matt McCracken of Doublenaut, Sebastian Padilla of Anagrama, Ian Paget of LogoGeek, Tracy Sabin of Sabingrafik, Christopher Simmons of MINE, Matt Stevens of Design Office of Matt Stevens, and Alina Wheeler of Designing Brand Identity.
