SUMMARY:29th Annual Pumpkin Carve
DESCRIPTION:The Auburn University Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is excited to be hosting its twenty-ninth annual Pumpkin Carve. Pumpkin Carve began as a studio project and has now turned into one of the most celebrated events within the School of Architecture\, Planning\, and Landscape Architecture here at Auburn University. The event is one of the largest fundraisers of the year and allows AIAS to provide other activities for the architecture students and community. \n  \nOn the day of the event\, the AIAS invites all students within the University as well as alumni and community members of all ages to gather in the courtyard of Dudley Hall to carve pumpkins. Judges\, invited from the local community and the college\, select the best pumpkins and award prizes donated from local businesses. Pumpkin Carve is a much anticipated event and is enjoyed by the students\, the faculty\, and the community. \n  \nGeneral Schedule \n9 am \nCarving begins \n  \n11:30 am \nLunch \n  \n6 pm                     \nPumpkins Lit + Judging Begins \n  \n7 pm                   \nPumpkin Carving\, Silent Auction\, Costume Contest\, + Random Drawing Winners Announced \n  \n7:30 pm             \nAuction of Pumpkins Begins \n                                                                                                                                                                                                      All Day Events                                                                                                                                                                      \n\nCostume Contest: College students\, kids\, faculty\, and visitors are encouraged to come carve a pumpkin in their Halloween costumes. Upon arrival\, costume contest participants can take a picture in front of a designed wall.
