DESCRIPTION:The School of Architecture\, Planning and Landscape Architecture”s 2017–2018 Lecture Series\, | in between|\, presents Thomas Robinson\, Founder and Principal of LEVER Architecture\, a Portland\, Oregon-based design practice\, on Wednesday\, October 4 in Telfair Peet Theater. Robinson is pioneering the forest-to-frame movement and the development of mass timber building in the U.S. with the first wood high-rise\, Framework. His lecture\, “The Future of Tall: Building a Wood High Rise in the U.S.\,” is at 2 pm and is free and open to the public.
