DESCRIPTION:The Spring 2014 Graphic Design Juried Student Show will be on exhibition from Thursday\, February 20\, through Thursday\, February 27\, at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. The Show’s reception will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday\, February 26\, in the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center lobby.  Hank Richardson\, Director of Design at Portfolio Center in Atlanta\, GA\, will jury the show and speak at 3 p.m. on February 26. The Graphic Design Juried Student Show is an annual exhibition and a competitive show featuring the year’s best work by Graphic Design students in the School of Industrial + Graphic Design. Students submit their work in categories that include: Typography\, Identity\, Magazine Design\, Book Design\, Poster Design\, Web Design\, Interactive Design\, Package Design\, Illustration\, and Photography.  All events are free and open to the public. The Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center is located at 222 E. Drake Avenue in Auburn and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, Monday through Friday.
