Andrew Berman FAIA is a New York City-based architect, realizing unique and finely executed buildings and public spaces. Since 1995 Andrew Berman Architect has worked on a wide range of project types and scales for diverse institutional and private clients. Each commission is approached on its own unique terms.

 

Andrew Berman received a Bachelor of Arts from Yale College and a Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. In 2010, he received the Architectural League’s Emerging Voices Award, which recognized his distinct design voices and significant bodies of realized work. In 2014 Andrew was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. In 2016 he received the Arts and Letters Award for Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In 2018 he was invited to design a chapel for the Vatican at the Venice Biennale. Andrew regularly lectures on the firm’s work and participates in design juries at major architectural schools.
