28th Annual Pumpkin Carve is October 28, 2016

Pumpkin Carve began as a studio project 28 years ago and has now turned into one of the most celebrated events within the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture at Auburn University. This annual fundraising event is hosted by the Auburn Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students. AIAS invites all students within the university as well as alumni and community members of all ages to gather in the Dudley courtyard to carve pumpkins. Judges, invited from the local community and the college, select the best pumpkins and award prizes donated from local businesses.
Pumpkin Carve will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Schedule
9am – Carving Begins
11:30am – Lunch
6pm – Pumpkins are lighted and judging begins
7pm – Pumpkin Carving, Silent Auction, Costume Contest and “Red Ticket” Winners Announced
8pm – Auction of Pumpkins
All Day Events
Costume Contest: College students, kids, faculty, and visitors are encouraged to carve a pumpkin in their Halloween costumes. Upon arrival, costume contest participants take a picture in front of a designated wall. All the photos will be judged, and winners will be announced at 7pm. Winners must be present to receive prizes.
Aubie
Aubie will be in attendance at various times throughout the day.
Refreshments
Hot dogs (aka Halloweiners) and hamburgers will be served at lunch, and CADC organizations will be selling snacks and beverages all day long.
Parking will be available after 5pm in the South Quad Parking Deck on Lem Morrison Dr. and on Duncan Dr.
