Scholarships

The College of Architecture, Design and Construction awards departmental scholarships annually in alignment with the timeline established by Auburn University.

These scholarships are mostly donor-funded and are awarded based on information submitted through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM) application, which is available in each student’s AUAccess account.

Most departmental scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000 and are one-time awards for a single academic year. To ensure maximum consideration, it is imperative that students submit their fully completed AUSOM application by the annual deadline set by the University Scholarship Office.

Most CADC departmental scholarships are awarded to current students in their third, fourth or fifth year of school. Each year, approximately 15–25 of the 400 incoming freshmen receive a departmental scholarship.

Scholarships by Major

The CADC awards approximately $600,000 in scholarships annually to recognize and support outstanding students based on their performance in our professional programs. If you have further questions about scholarships, contact the scholarship coordinator for your major listed below.

FAFSA

The CADC highly recommends all students to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. When filling out the FAFSA, students should submit the code for Auburn University in order to send the information to Auburn. Students are not required to submit FAFSA to be considered for all scholarships, but many CADC and major-specific scholarships require a FAFSA to be on file for student consideration. The CADC strongly suggests all students to submit the FAFSA every year of school. The FAFSA will open on October 1 every year for the following academic year. We recommend all students submit FAFSA by December 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.

For more information or questions about FAFSA, contact the Auburn Student Financial Services Office.
