Scholarships
The CADC awards departmental scholarships annually in the same timeline as the other colleges and schools at Auburn University. Departmental scholarships are mostly donor funded scholarships awarded based on the information submitted by students on the AUSOM application. Most departmental scholarships will award at $1000–$2000 and they are one year, one time only awards. To ensure maximum consideration, it is imperative that students submit their fully filled out AUSOM application by the annual deadline set by the University Scholarship Office. Criteria for donor funded, departmental scholarships vary and include, but may not be limited to, academic major, geographic location, academic achievement, and financial need.
Most CADC departmental scholarships award to current students in their third, fourth or fifth years of school. The CADC will usually see only 25–35 of the 400 incoming freshmen receive a departmental scholarship.

All scholarships from Auburn University are awarded in the spring for the following academic year. Students selected to receive an award are notified in their AUSOM application and by an email to their TigerMail account.
Scholarships by Major
The CADC awards approximately $200,000 in scholarships annually to recognize and support outstanding students based on their performance in our professional programs. These scholarships are awarded by faculty and staff representing their respective programs, based on the award criteria established by the scholarship donor/sponsor. If you have further questions about scholarships, contact the scholarship coordinator for your major listed below.

FAFSA
The CADC highly recommends all students to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, called a FAFSA. The FAFSA is submitted online. When filling out the FAFSA, students should submit the code for Auburn University in order to send the information to Auburn. Students are not required to submit FAFSA to be considered for all scholarships, but many CADC and major specific scholarships require a FAFSA to be on file for student consideration. The CADC strongly suggests all students to submit the FAFSA every year of school. The FAFSA will open on October 1 every year for the following academic year. We recommend all students submit FAFSA by December 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
For more information or questions about FAFSA, contact the Auburn Student Financial Services Office.
