The CADC awards departmental scholarships based on a student’s AUSOM application and supplemental CADC application within AUSOM. The AUSOM application is a university wide application. To ensure maximum consideration, it is imperative that students submit their AUSOM application by 4:45 p.m. CST on the day of the deadline to receive consideration for scholarships. Criteria for scholarships vary and include, but may not be limited to, academic major, geographic location, academic achievement, and financial need.
Scholarships by School
The CADC awards approximately $200,000 in scholarships annually to recognize and support outstanding students based on their performance in our professional programs. These scholarships are awarded by faculty committees representing their respective programs, based on the award criteria established by the scholarship donor/sponsor. Check our your school’s page for more information on their scholarships.
The CADC highly reccommends all students to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, called a FAFSA. The FAFSA is submitted online. When filling out the FAFSA, students should submit the code for Auburn University in order to send the information to Auburn. Students are not required to submit FAFSA to be considered for all scholarships, but many CADC and major specific scholarships require a FAFSA to be on file for student consideration. The CADC strongly suggests all students to submit the FAFSA every year of school. The FAFSA will open on October 1 every year for the following academic year. We recommend all students submit FAFSA by December 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
For more information or questions about FAFSA, contact the Auburn Student Financial Services Office.
