CADC Mourns Death of Harold Hebson

Building Science alumnus and supporter, Harold Hebson, passed away Saturday, August 30 in Fort Worth, Texas. Hebson, a 1972 Building Science graduate, was the longest serving member of Building Science’s Industry Advisory Council. In 2010, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the McWhorter School of Building Science. A Sylacauga, Alabama native, Hebson spent his career at Linbeck Group, LLC in Houston, Texas, starting as an estimator in 1974 and retiring as senior vice president in 2011.

“Harold's passing is a great loss to the McWhorter School of Building Science,” says Richard Burt, McWhorter Eminent Scholar and School Head. “His contribution to the school through his work on our industry advisory council was hugely significant. Harold's opinion, advice and council were always welcomed and valued. We will miss him immensely.”
