CADC Communications and Marketing Wins GDUSA Certificates of Excellence

Three publications created by the CADC’s Communications and Marketing have won Certificates of Excellence in Graphic Design USA’s 2015 American Inhouse Design competition. From nearly 6,000 entries, only 15 percent were recognized with a Certificates of Excellence. The American Inhouse Design Awards showcases “outstanding work by inhouse designers, recognizing designers for their talent, for the special challenges they face, and perhaps most important, for the value they bring to their business and institutions.” Courtney Collins, CADC Graphic Designer and 2013 graduate of the Graphic Design program in the School of Industrial + Graduate Design, created the three award-winning pieces:

Undergraduate Digital Handbook
City Scenarios (Breeden lecture series posters)
Graduate Prospective Student Handbook

“We are thrilled to have received this external recognition that speaks not only to the great work created in our office but also to the excellent education our students receive in CADC’s graphic design program,” says Colleen Bourdeau, CADC Director of Communications and Marketing.
