Burt Speaking at GBAC’s Fall Kickoff Party
Come join Dr. Richard Burt, Head of the McWhorter School of Building Science, at Birmingham’s largest Auburn Family event at the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club’s annual Fall Kickoff Party on Wednesday, July 17. GBAC has chosen the McWhorter School of Building Science as this year’s “Academic Spotlight,” and Burt will join special guest Coach Gus Malzahn in this yearly event for Auburn fans and alumni that is a freshmen sendoff for local students and features the Auburn band, cheerleaders, Aubie, and War Eagle VII. Proceeds from the GBAC raffle that night will be donated to the McWhorter School of Building Science. The GBAC Fall Kickoff will be at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center on 3660 Grandview Parkway and starts at 5:30 p.m.
