Environmental Design

Ecologies

The Ecologies Unit explores the complex interconnections between humans and other species, the dynamic environments they inhabit, and the critical material, infrastructural and ecological systems that support and sustain them. Students in the Environmental Design program with a focus on Ecologies will develop a strong foundation in ecological literacy. They will examine how the design of objects and spaces can foster biodiversity, envision new models of urban and rural life and support the well-being of the planet’s most vulnerable species.
