CADC Alums Co-Chair DC Community Improvement Day

CADC alumni John Mansour ’10 (B. ARCH) and Grace Harriett ‘10 (MDB – now MID&C) were selected by the District of Columbia Building Industry Association to co-chair the 21st annual Community Improvement Day, one of the largest community service projects in DC. They coordinated ten architecture firms and ten contracting firms for eight months to come up with a design for Robert F. Lederer Gardens that could be built in one day. More than 800 volunteers from more than 100 different organizations made the event one of the largest and most successful Community Improvement Days in its history.
