Director of Interior Architecture, KSS Architects

A talk entitled The Future of Workplace Design was delivered by Sven Schröeter of KSS Architects which focused on the history and future of workplace configurations along with the role architecture has in balancing our needs for space and interpersonal engagement. It was an opportunity to better understand previous design concepts along with educating clients on the strengths and weaknesses of designs for healthy work spaces that consider ergonomics, comfort and control of micro-climates in an open office plan.

Sven Schröeter, AIA is the Director of Interior Architecture at KSS Architects in Philadelphia. He has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of various project types, including residential, commercial, institutional, education, transportation, and master planning. He holds degrees from Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of the office, Sven has been an active advocate for community-based planning and design with Logan Square Neighborhood Association’s Planning and Design Committee and represents the neighborhood on the City Planning Commission’s Civic Design Review Board.
