APLA 2017–2018 Speaker Series: | in between | Jennifer Feltman

The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architectures 2017–2018 Lecture Series, | in between |, welcomes Jennifer M. Feltman on Monday, November 13, for this semester”s final lecture. Feltman is an assistant professor of medieval art and architecture in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. Her research focuses on the way in which works of medieval art, whether architecture, sculpture, or manuscripts intersect with aspects of culture, such as intellectual history, religious practice and political discourse. She is co-editor of The Long Lives of Medieval Art and Architecture, which is forthcoming from Routledge. Her lecture, “The Form of Gothic: Geometry in Design and Construction,” will be in Dudley B6 auditorium and is free and open to the public.
