M. Miller and Frances Gorrie Construction Visualization Laboratory

The Construction Visualization Laboratory (VDC) in the McWhorter School of Building Science is equipped with an Oblong Mezzanine system and a 27 monitor video wall. The VDC provides important visualization tools to support research, teaching and learning through the complete immersive engagement of faculty and students using high-end graphic content as well as 3D/4D construction models. The lab is equipped to allow the use of augmented reality (AR), building information modeling (BIM), nD modeling and other interactive modes.
